Gotta LOVE your veggies!!! Just like our SUPER fan, kids can’t get enough of growing their own food. Who doesn’t love digging up veggies??? It’s like digging for buried treasure. And watching seeds grow from tiny seedlings into grown, mature plants, tending them and keeping an eye on their progress, protecting them from invaders (in the form of slugs and bugs!), really is quite an adventure.

A dusting of snow? The one good thing about severe weather is that we can all return to our childhoods and get creative with snow, twigs, carrots and oranges. We should point out that you could also make a snow woman, snow kids or snow animals. Or why not put them together to make your own snow family. There are no rules – the more weird and wonderful your creation is, the better. You could go for the traditional rolling technique, or try to sculpt arms and legs if you’re feeling particularly clever.
