Now that’s what we call Apple Bobbing Commitment!!! Apple Day usually takes place on 21 October each year, or often the nearest weekend to that date. There are lots of Apple Day events taking place across the UK, so why not have a bit of fun creating your own old skool activities – the longest peel competition, cook a crumble, walk in an orchard, apple bobbing and tasting. Or you could just dazzle your friends and family with our apple trivia??? Do you know why apples float? Because they are 25% air. We thought you might like this? Did you know the first two wheeled rider propelled machine was invented by Baron Karl de Drais de Sauerbrun, in France in 1818. It was entirely made of wood. It’s also been calculated that cycling at least 20 miles a week cuts in half the risk of heart disease compared to non-cyclists who take no exercise, according to the British Heart Foundation. The British Medical Association also recommends that you cycle daily. Dust off that saddle and feel the wind in your hair WHOOHAAA!!!
