The team have been out and about again…this time around Wild Food School delivered yet more apples and blackberries to TGM HQ! So you know what that meant – CAAAAAAKE! Here’s our delicious recipe for a super hero apple and blackberry fruit cake. It’s a great way to eat fruit, the only trouble you will have is stopping whoooo haaaaaaa go and enjoy yay!!! Ingredients 250g organic wholemeal self-raising flour 175g organic butter 175g organic light brown sugar ½ tsp cinnamon 2 rounded tbsp organic demerara sugar 3/4 small urban foraged apple, quartered (not cored or peeled) 2 large organic or free range eggs , beaten 1 orange, finely grated zest 1 tsp baking powder 225g or there abouts blackberries …
