Could you imagine a billboard which actually helps people? That’s happening in Lima, Peru. The billboard pictured produces around 100 litres of water a day from nothing more than humidity, a basic filtration system and a little gravitational ingenuity. 2013 is the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation and time to make everybody aware of water and why it’s so critical to everyday life. Cool it Schools http://www.coolitschools.com/hot-water are inviting all young people and students between the age of 4 and 25 to make a ‘bite-size’ film which you will be able to enter from March 22nd – World Water Day. This can be fun or serious and should be no more than 50 seconds long – the length of a TV advert. All entered films will be shown in the Cool it Schools video gallery. There will be very cool prizes (awards page open soon) and the winning films will be screened at the Hot Water Awards …
