In honour of national veg week and meat free Monday, we made a ‘red lentil and barley soup’ ha with a big chunk of ‘white Sourdough bread’ from our local bakery. Well if that’s not good enough by 2020 it’s been calculated that this number will rise to around 60 million, now that’s a crazy number and NOT GOOD!!! Just like it was in the old days a pole is a symbol of unity, tradition and pride. It represents a family’s histories, relationships, stories, beliefs and experiences. A traditional totem pole shows animals and mythical figures associated with a family or friends. The word totem is derived from the Ojibwe word odoodem, “his kinship group”. We came across this modern day totem in Geralton, Western Australia. We love the messages,must be time for a group hug x
